Dave,
    Since the subject line did NOT say "NO CORVAIR" and  Matt's repeat of 
that portion of the original query failed to mention that the  car was NOT a 
Corvair I naturally assumed that this query had to do with  Corvairs since this is 
the VirtualVAIRS email group.
    And here I thought that I had FINALLY found  something to correct a Matt 
statement.<GGGG>

Does he have the  12 volts from the starter solenoid during START?

Have you adjusted the  points while running?
