We have never had a "club car", but I will be the devils advocate here....
First you have to have a place to store it.
A club member may allow storage for a set period of time, but best laid
plans may turn this into long term storage until finally the storer wants
it gone.
A lot of people may offer assistance and parts.........is it all talk or do
people follow through.
What does the club intend to do with the car, down and dirty, auction it as
is, or maybe a member will buy it from the club. What are the clubs
intentions for proceeds? Will it affect "not for profit" status?
Restore it and donate the proceeds to a worthy cause?
Restore it and cover club members dues for many years to come?
Spend it on a day of drunkeness and debauchery? (my idea)

I have seen clubs semi restore and raffle a car and donate the proceeds.
Saw it happen once in my area though that the car turned out to be not all
that safe and the club had to buy it back.
Will CORSA liability cover you for this???????????

Gary Swiatowy
just some food for thought........
