Yeesh. Obviously both the drive-on lift and the frame lift are valid lifting 
solutions.  One is biased toward easy, safe loading and the other is biased 
toward working on the car but requires more care in loading.  I'd be willing to 
guess that most individuals purchase drive-on style lifts and I know that 
service shops purchase frame-lifts almost exclusively.  Buy whatever you want.
