If the window is binding it is most often (in my experience) because there
is too much fore and aft (front to rear) play which allows the window to bind.
It can be because of worn rubber fuzzie channels or a front channel that
has shifted--or a combination of both. Carefully remove the door panel using
the special tool or two screwdriver method around each push-in connector and
watch the window as you wind it up and down. Dollars to donuts it is getting
cocked and wedged because of too much play. Try adjusting the front channel
at the bottom screw to bring it closer to the window and see if that
helps--of course if you see another cause then fix that instead. And plan on
replacing the channel liners when you can.
