The Longest Race Centennial cruise arrived in downtown Buffalo at 7:30 PM
Sunday led by NFCC President Joe Pendolino in his 62 Corvair. Joe got to
lead a portion of this second leg due to his familiarity of the Downtown
streets and he knew where the original Thomas factory was located and how to
get from their to the Buffalo Transportation Museum. Riding with Joe was
Jeff Mahl, great grandson of the Original winner of the Grreat Race of 1908.
Joe Pendolino drove his 62 Vair from Times Square in NY City to Buffalo.
The "Race" has been plagued with a few breakdowns and delays. It took them
14 hours to get from Times Square to Utica NY. Schedule may be a bit off.
I'm joining them this AM, at the Adam's Mark in Downtown Buffalo and am
going on the short leg to Springville NY, maybe further. Depends on time and
the pace.
Another NFCC Member may join in down near Fredonia NY for awhile.

I am hoping they will be updating their website periodically.
