Ron:  I always check the oil before I drive and always keep the level between the two marks on the stick.  I have heard about problems with too much oil so I keep it between the 2 marks.  I have driven the car about 1000 miles since the last oil change and I'd say I've put in a half quart in that time.  That is about the same usage as my 110 HP '66 vert that I know for a fact that was properly rebuilt with the best new parts.  Ernie
