<VV> seat springs???

Hey guys (and gals),
I was helping a friend out at Ft Knox with his 63 Corvair (you might  
remember me mentioning helping him last year with the rear springs, and finding  it 
is a 63 Convertible with the front of a 61 grafted onto it, since everything  
forward the rear set of front seat bolts is 61, including wiper motor and  
master cylinder)... anyway, we were tearing apart his front seats and found no  
fewer than 10 broken springs (rusted through, actually)... can anyone recommend  
a place to get some replacement springs and the clips to install them???
He's getting transferred to Ft Benning, GA in December, and I'm really  going 
to miss this guy. He's willing to dive into anything (with a little  
guidance)... He's originally from Tennessee, and his wife is from Hawaii (which  is 
where he found this 63/61 Corvair 'vert).... absolutely wonderful people...  not 
a bad egg, especially for being a Major.

I'm hoping we can get this thing back together soon (the car itself is  
getting the 12 coats of paint stripped off and getting a fresh paint job)... so  if 
you have a source for these seat springs (just for the bucket seats) let me  
know.
