<VV> brand new 69 on craigslist

That's exactly what happened with my #4782. It got used as a demo at a dealer in southern In. Then it sat because nobody wanted it. It then was sold to American Corvair Parts. They in turn sold it to another Corvair guy here in In. He had it several years. Then I bought it in the early eighties with only 11,000 on the clock. I always wanted to know what a new Corvair drove like and it was nice.

P.S.  I currently have a 69 that will be going up for sale soon too #5747. It is 500 also. It needs work but is a driver showing 55k. Anyone interested contact me at: 317-917-2395 Thanks.

This car has been owned by a Chevy dealership and never titled. It wasn't
chosen, probably the other way around.
It probably sat on the lot way too long, back in '69 and rather than send
it
off to a dealer auction,
someone in the family had a soft spot for it and kept it instead.

It's much more of an original example than the red '63 we've been
looking
at, but they've
chosen exactly the wrong time to sell this car, to get the $42,000!! they
now want for it.

I'm watching the Barrett Jackson auction and everything is about 60% of
what
you'd get in better times.
Even the GM Heritage collection cars are selling soft, but so far they are
the highest $ sales.
