Or you can just take a memo magnet off the refrigerator.  Fridge 
magnets are not very strong and will lose grip on a car's surface if 
even a skim of filler is under the paint.

I think that using the local insurance agency/roofing 
contractor/pizza joint advertising magnet, instead of buying a "Spot 
Rot," is in keeping with the, um, frugal nature of Corvair owners.
