That name is pronounced Cray-poh.  When I was 17, I worked for a  member of 
the Crapo family who was a director of Huron Portland Cement Company,  as 
well as Wyandotte Chemicals; incidentally, he helped me get a job at WyChem  
when I turned 18 and was old enough to work in the lab.
