<VV> more brakes: another thought

I think it is because dual MCs are hard to properly bleed without a pressure
bleeder. What works for me is after my partner pumps the pedal, I open a
front and back bleeder so the MC pistons go all the way to the bottom.
Close the bleeders, and repeat.

I was thinking, since many have experienced this or something similar is it
possible that our brake pedal is simply not pushing the plunger far enough
into the dual MC to provide braking under these circumstances? I think I
saw some mention of there being an adjustment there recently? This seems
unlikely since my pedal is nice and high when the brakes are working, but
possible maybe?
