<VV> more brakes: another thought

I have an idea... whats the chance of a bad hose???
This past spring I replaced two bad brake hoses on my 64, and I also did the plumbing for a dual res. MC... I had the pipes (lines) and warning switch from a 67 that I'd stripped apart in a junk yard maybe 18 years ago, and finally had a EM to put it in... I wired the warning switch up to my parking brake light, but I'm sure I'll know something is wrong by the time the light comes on.
:-)
Anyway, the hoses are cheap enough, and you can't skimp on brakes... well, you can, but I advise against it.
As for bleeding the brakes, I attach a rubber hose to the nipple, and the rubber runs over to a coke bottle (actually a glass Ale8-1 bottle, for you hillbillies out there) and the fluid fills the bottle... it flushes the old fluid out, and a 32 oz bottle of brake fluid isn't too expensive... this way I just work solo... on my own time.
:-)
Later,
Lonzo

I think it is because dual MCs are hard to properly bleed without a pressure
leeder. What works for me is after my partner pumps the pedal, I open a
ront and back bleeder so the MC pistons go all the way to the bottom.
lose the bleeders, and repeat.

I was thinking, since many have experienced this or something similar is it
ossible that our brake pedal is simply not pushing the plunger far enough
nto the dual MC to provide braking under these circumstances? I think I
aw some mention of there being an adjustment there recently? This seems
nlikely since my pedal is nice and high when the brakes are working, but
ossible maybe?
