<VV> (Late model ?) bumper guards - lower edge bracket proposal

This will not answer the question that was asked, but is a good segue into a
proposed idea :

I have "guardless" (undrilled) bumpers and a set of bumper guards that I
want to install, but do not want to drill a good set of bumpers.

However, the brackets for the guards require a hole to mount them.

I am trying to make a set of modified brackets that "hook" onto the bumper
on the lower edge similar to the way they mount on top, by "grabbing" onto
the edge of the bumpers.

Doesn't seem very hard to do, so I figure maybe someone already has devised
this little gizmo ?

Just a thought,
Charlie
