GM always has crate motors sitting at ready at the parts warehouse, just in
case. Number 5999 had a crate motor stuffed in it in less than a week's
time from build to delivery transpiring.

Also in '69, the dealer in Mansfield, Ohio ordered in just three Corvairs,
two Monzas typically equipped, and one 500 with NOTHING on it. Stripper
cars DID happen.
