<VV> 65-66 turn signal switch

I pulled my steering wheel again, to "tinker" with it.
Pushed one of the tiny brass springs back into place and it worked fine.
Then I moved the signal lever back and forth a dozen times and sure enough,
it came back out of place.
I see no way of fixing it, permanently. I think these repro's are maybe not
so good.
2 suppliers have informed me they are "out of stock" or backordered. 2-3
weeks to get a replacement.

I also have a troublesome repro turn signal switch (65-66) purchased in the
last year. I was told that the repro's sometimes need some tinkering to
work right... I still haven't taken it back apart to fiddle with it... left

works fine, right activates only the rear light and not the indicator or
front light unless I hold it up with a finger.... it also doesn't cancel
properly from a right turn but that may be due to my wheel still being off
center.. another little thing I need to fine tune.
