Too late for you, but the parking lights on with headlamps is just a
wire moved from one terminal to another on the headlamp switch. No parts
need.

Discussed here several times.

I figured out the search function (which never uses the word search!)
(and the link to VV is really hidden on the Corsa site!) and found this:

"Years ago, there was a tech tip about how to have the parking lights on when the headlights are on. It involved moving a wire on the light switch. Anybody remember it or know how?"

On a LM you move the purple wire on the headlight switch connector to the empty hole in the connector.
That ties the purple wire (front parking lights) to the brown wire (rear running lights) via the headlight switch terminals.

On an EM tie the purple (64) or violet (next to the red wire 61-63 ) wire to the black wire at the headlight switch. I'm not sure if there is an empty connector hole on an EM. There are two violet wires on 61-63 according to the diagrams I have. The one next to the red wire is for the front lights. The other violet wire is for the dome lights. It should be easy to ID the dome light wire.

I like the four way flasher idea. I must try that. Instead of a many pole switch you just use a single pole singe throw switch. Very clever.

Two safety features that were introduced on '67 Corvairs (and all US-market cars, actually) include 4 way flashers, and parking lights that illuminate with the headlights. I assume the latter is useful if a headlight goes out; at least in the dark no one will think you're riding a Harley!
> By using cheap diodes available from Radio Shack, I was able to add these two features to my 66 Monza without very little work needed (once the instrument cluster is removed). The diodes allow one way flow of electricity, so by connecting a single diode to the headlight and parking light wires going from the headlight switch, the parking lights go on with the headlights, but when the parking lights (only) are selected (first detent on the switch), the headlights don't go on.
