My '61 doesn't have a heater because a previous owner yanked out the original gasoline heater. I have it, but it's in my shed. I'm thinking of installing a 12-volt electric heater that I got for $25.

At present I am in Florida, Tim, and it was here in Florida that I first saw a Rampside without the optional heater, years ago.  I have seen one or two (at most) since.

Snowing in Durango, you say?  90 degrees here...  --Bob

But the couple of times I brought "weird" stuff on airplanes I checked the bag and then forewarned the airline rep what I was bringing. May have put their minds at ease knowing what I was doing. And TSA did look at all my stuff (leaving their tape on my box).
