<VV> Valve cover gasket bolt size and grade?

Isn't it a better solution to convert the bolts to studs and then it's a
piece 'a cake to align the gasket and valve cover. Run a self-locking nut
down and you're good to go.

1" long usually works with the spreader bars just fine.

Grade should be at least grade 5, three hash marks.
