<VV> Electric Fuel Pump Wiring

I have just come across the same issue on my Corvan - I am fitting a
British SU pump. But I don't want it coming off the ignition - I run
mine off a seperate switch (which may be fed from the ign switch or
not). I do something similar with all my cars - especially my (British)
Morris Minor convertible as an anti-theft device. Anybody can get in by
slashing the roof (which is why we never lock the car) and you can start
these cars with the ring-pull off a drinks can - it only has two fuses,
one via ignition and one not - so you just bridge across the fuses and
you have ignition. Press the button on the solenoid and you're away! So
anybody can get in and anybody can start it. And it will run for half a
mile & then die. And they won't find the secret switch for the fuel
pump.
