Thank you Larry,
I can return the heads and that is what I am thinking.
I'm sure I can get the insert out, not sure what condition the hole will be in.
Jim

Hi Jim,
I recommend you call TimeSert for their advice. They are the experts. TimeSert also makes BigSerts, which can be sometimes used to repair a botched insert. I have used them on heads that have had a thread repair fail. BigSerts would be a last resort. You will need to purchase a BigSert insert kit and inserts. Note: be careful of the insert tool as they can break if you are not careful. Also use oil on that tool as they recommend. Note also that the normal TimeSert insert tool can be used to insert a BigSert and save you the cost of a $25 insert tool. Same 3/8x16 thread and it will work.
Good luck,
Larry
